We are over our target goal of $296,577 and we will be receiving 60% of the donations over the target. We have now raised $413,852.
Our efforts continue to increase our parish participation rate so if you have not contributed - please review the materials and make a pledge.
Any questions, please call the office or Fr. Juan.
The Campaign Leadership Committee: Fr. Juan Herrera, Linda Barrows, Paul Brown, Father Bill Champlin, Deacon Malcom Colgate, Ed France, Claire Gingras, Susan Gaudet, Eileen McIntyre and Dave Provencial.
The goal of the Leadership Committee is to make sure every parishioner knows what this campaign is about and how we are being called to participate.
All parishes in the Diocese of Worcester are joining together for the Legacy of Hope Campaign. This campaign seeks to raise 32 million over the next 4 years to prepare our faith communities for the future. At its heart, this campaign is about creating a legacy by focusing on our parishes, our retired priests, Catholic education, outreach, evangelization and our beautiful Cathedral.
St. Edward the Confessor Parish will retain 40% of every dollar raised in our parish campaign effort to be used for our own parish needs! Once we reach or exceed our goal we will retain 60% of the dollars raised.
Our projects are:
1) Replace the carpet in our Parish Center and Church
2) Reimburse funds used for replacing the roof on the Parish Center
3) Paint the interior of the Church and Parish Center
4) Establish a fund for ongoing Parish needs.
With your support, prayers and charitable hearts you can help ensure the success of the Legacy of Hope Campaign, help others throughout Worcester County and make these plans a reality.
