The Knights of Columbus have scholarship applications available in the vestibule of the church next to the Catholic Free Press. The application deadline will be extended until June 14th due to lack of applicants. Please mail the completed applications to the address on the last page of the application.  

The State Chapter of the Knights of Columbus has a Charity Fund Program. The program offers free grants to help people with disabilities. 

* The program is available through our local Council at St. Edward’s and St. Denis, you need not be a member of the Knights or the Parishes.

• Helps people with intellectual disabilities regardless of age and children with physical disabilities under 20
• The maximum grant for an individual is $5,000
• The maximum grant for handicapped ramps, wheelchair van conversions, and stair lifts is $7,000 
• The program is open to all, with no restrictions as to race, creed, sex or National origin.

The Knights of St. Edward’s and St. Denis recently helped a local Ashburnham family with a metal ramp to accommodate the needs of a physically handicapped child. The program provided the ramp and installation free of charge.
